Qualifications

• While this search is primarily focused on Cognos skills, we expect our consultants to be willing to learn and work with other BI/DWH tools and technologies as our client needs dictate. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
• 3-4 Years development experience with Cognos products
• Responsible for overall technical design and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions including:
  • Report Studio
  • Query Studio
  • Analysis Studio
  • Metric Studio
  • Metric Designer
  • Event Studio
  • Framework Manager
  • PowerPlay Studio
  • Analytic Applications
  • Cognos Express
  • Powerhouse 4GL/Web
• Ability to design, deliver and optimize Cognos applications on multiple database platforms.
• Provide high-quality consulting services and deliverables to Claraview customers.
• Assist the firm in growing through ensuring high customer satisfaction and identification/scoping of additional client projects.
• Maintain technical skills at a level commensurate with a BI consultant in the industry, keeping abreast of new technologies and methods.
• Consulting experience in multiple client projects, with some exposure to Fortune 100 companies as a consultant desirable
• Experience with Data Integration techniques and technologies desirable.
• Experience with multiple data warehouse platforms.
• Experience with Teradata highly preferred, but not required.
• Location & Travel Requirements: This position requires travel which is estimated at 80% depending on the location and project assignment. This position offers you the freedom to live anywhere in the U.S. as long as you are near a major airport. Relocation is not available for this position.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
