Qualifications

As a firm focused exclusively on strategy formation, design, delivery and management of business intelligence solutions we have a growing need of BI consultants that have expertise with:

Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) -- their Enterprise Business intelligence platform
Oracle Business Intelligence Applications -- Pre-built, subject specific, analytical applications with OBIEE
Oracle Essbase -- Multi-dimensional OLAP Technology (MOLAP, ROLAP)
Oracle Enterprise Performance Management -- Market-leading financial close and enterprise planning applications and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)

We have 20+ Oracle projects and are looking for experienced consultants who can bring the above skill set to assist with projects that involve: strategic, assessment, plan, design, and assessment/building strategic roadmaps and/or design and delivery of an OBIEE, Oracle BI Apps, or Essbase, or EPM solutions. To support our consultants, we have access to Teradata and Oracle R&D, Engineering, knowledge management systems and special communities of practice.

In addition, our projects may involve strategic and organizational assessment as well as the creation of BI implementation roadmaps, so our consultants must have business acumen in addition to technical expertise. While this search is primarily focused on OBIEE skills, we expect our consultants to be willing to learn and work with other BI/DWH tools and technologies as our client needs dictate.

Business Intelligence

BI Optimization - Speed query and other key aspects of performance for leading technologies including Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), OBI Applications and Oracle Essbase
BI Consolidation - Reduce the number of instances and administrative costs associated with multiple instances of OBIEE, OBI Apps and Essbase
BI Migration - Achieve cost savings and new business insight by migrating existing OBI Apps or moving Hyperion Interactive Reporting tools over to OBIEE on Teradata warehouse

Enterprise Performance Management

Performance Management - Improved analytics on Teradata with Oracle Profitability & Cost Management, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle Hyperion Planning

Education and/or Experience:

3-5 Years Experience with OBIEE, Hyperion, and/or Siebel analytical tools and dashboards
Experience in the deployment of reporting tools such as OBIEE, BI Server, Answers, or Dashboards
Extensive experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) analytical application architecture and development
Hands-on experience in designing technical architecture, installation and configuration of OBIEE components
Prior experience implementing OBIEE metadata (RPD) design and development - including design and definition of logical tables, physical sources, dimensions, columns and aggregation rules.
Strong foundation in industry standard Data Warehousing design concepts is required
Working knowledge of the Oracle Applications
Skilled in writing SQL queries and optimization of SQL queries are necessary
Experience with Software Development Life Cycle, including requirement gathering, documentation testing and knowledge transfer is require
A working functional knowledge with Oracle eBusiness Suite and / or Siebel is preferred.
Experience with Teradata
Experience with Oracle 10g and Essbase is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborates with business and technology resources to identify key business requirements for the OBIEE product suite implementation.
Responsible for the deployment and maintenance of the Physical Layer, Business Model and Presentation layers in OBIEE repository.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with performance criteria through database SQL and metadata/report tuning
Provide high-quality consulting services and deliverables to Claraview customers
Assist the firm in growing through ensuring high customer satisfaction and identification/scoping of additional client projects
Maintain technical skills at a level commensurate with a BI consultant in the industry, keeping abreast of new technologies and methods
Other duties may be assigned
