Dan Ross joined Claraview in early 2003, and is responsible for the long-term growth strategy, and overall management and operations of the firm. He last served as a Partner overseeing Claraview's Retail/Hospitality, Communications/Media and Manufacturing practices. Dan brings over 17 years of business intelligence expertise and 12+ years of senior management experience to the company.

Dan was an early employee of MicroStrategy and held a number of positions over nearly eight years, including Vice President of Services in the Strategy.com subsidiary, District Consulting Manager for the southeast region, Senior Consultant and MicroStrategy lecturer. After leaving MicroStrategy, Dan held the position of Senior Director, Professional Services for a division of Veridian Systems (now General Dynamics) as a member of the firm's management team, helping the firm complete a successful sale to RedSiren Technologies.

Dan is a recognized author in the business intelligence space, and contributes regularly to TDWI's BI Journal, the B-Eye-Network and industry publications such as Retail Merchandiser. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
